I use flitz media additive to mine and then after they are loade i wipe em off with a rag they look better than new with flitz.

I agree with Grumulkin imr 4064 is awesome with 165 and 168's I get great accuracy with 44.5 grs

I found imr 3031 to work well for me in my 99 with nosler ballistic tips using 33.0 grs. But if u want a real shooter in it try some 75 vmax's with some imr4320with 35.0 grs ,,,, i'm getting low .2's ...

from wht i've learned about the 204 is it doesn't care much for bullets heavier than 40 allenkoz twist is wrong for them don't stabilize

I have a savage model 12 and it shoot 32 vmax and 35 bergers exyremely well.I haven't used the 39 or 40's yet. The best powder i have found so far was imr 4895.and br4 primers

i use 44.5 grs imr4064 getting .3's with 168 bthp and cci br2 primers with r p nickel brass @100 yds have shepherd scope on it
