I have not ever had the privilege of a guided hunt or for that matter never
had a hunt on private property. There is enough public lands , to keep me busy. It's amazing what you see when you get far ...

Unit 30 is Douglass Pass, 1 unit east of 31 (Bookcliffs)
Unit 60 is By Gateway in the Manti La Salle Nat Forest
Worked hard for both critters

Well,
Once again the elk and deer hunting gods smiled on me!
The bull came from unit 30 1st season, the deer from unit 60 2nd season.
I used my 300 RUM on both, 180 gr TSX. both 1 shot about 200 ...

This is my 1st post to a neat forum!
I have a 7STW in a sendero, love it!
My go to rifle is a sako 75 s/s with a Macmillan stock and a Kreiger barrel
in 300RUM I went to the TSX ...
