The Montana Extreme and 50 BMG is the nastiest stuff I have used. I certainly gets the copper out if you don't drop over from getting a smell of it.

I use on it those barrels that heavily copper f ...

I use targets from Midway that have 4 bulls on 8.5 x 11" sheet and the other side is a one bull pistol target.

I haven't needed to purchase them for a while but they used to have two different grad ...

Midway (and others) have moly based bore pretreatments that I always use after cleaning. Rifles vary but using the pretreatment, I find the number of fouling rounds to be about the same as when shoot ...

Plain old vinegar, a drop or two of Dawn dishwashing detergent and about 5-10 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner. Brass is clean inside and out including the primer pockets.

Usually though I just u ...

In my opinion, the typical 357 mag is a lot nastier to shoot than my Smith 629
44 Mag. The 357 recoil seems much sharper and the muzzle blast much
worse. Of course the 357 revolver is much lighter ...

Could it be chambered for the 22 Long?

I believe the 22 Long is the same case as the Long Rifle but with a shorter 29 grain bullet than the LR's 40 grain. Maybe the longer bullet of the LR won't a ...

Considering I have never seen a 220 Swift rifle on a gun store rack in this area and I routinely see 22-250s, I suspect 22-250 is much more readily available. Being a handloader, that is not importan ...

When shooting at the range, you won't run into as many 220 Swift "experts" as yo ...
