I got home tonight and there was a suspicious package on the coffee table. wtf .. I should have twigged when the leupold scope disapeared off my trade me watch list Sad ... SWMBO aka the sneaky lady had bought it for me Very Happy a m8- 4x28 that had just come back from leupold after repairs for fogging for $180 buy now... that was too good to pass up I hinted but didnt think the hinting worked as nothing was said Sad . It fits very very nicely on the
"wee china girl" 7.62x39mm Very Happy most unusual cross hairs as it has a nice thick post that stops just short of the junction Very Happy . hopefully get home early enough to poke some holes in paper tomorrow after work. sneaky sneaky lady Very Happy Very Happy

Elvis, I can tell by all the "faces" in your post that you are a happy man.

well 12!!!! shots later..... Embarassed
first 2 were 6 inches low at 100yrds ok up 24 Very Happy
WRONG!!!!! Embarassed wtf
down 12???? better back on the paper but still high
down another 6..
better but still just too low and a little to the left
2 up and 2 left Confused
2 shots one just off my mark and one in it Very Happy
now to fire 2 of my reloads
in line but 5 inches low Sad
so shes a fussy wee tart Mad typical of a rear locking action. so I will leave it alone for now as I have 6 more of the sighted in loads and 5" at 100= 2.5" at 50 which wont matter a hoot at the ranges Ive been shooting Very Happy . when those last loads are gone I will tune her in to my loads and hopefully that will be it. and man is that wee leupold scope nice to look through Very Happy
so my lesson for the day is.... on my M8 the 4x written on the dial turrents means 4 per mark eg 1moa not 4power scope doh Embarassed
