I suppose the holiday period is pretty much finished now, however.....
Take notice
With the road toll continuing to increase each year especially around the Christmas Holiday period, this will be the first year that Zero Tolerance Speed Cameras will be introduced in Australia in December gearing up to the holiday period.
The new cameras look different to the normal cameras, so I have included a photo so that you are familiar with them and able to make sure not to speed when approaching. Please take this warning seriously as you will not get another chance.
Cheers, Vince

I get the feeling that the British don't mind cameras all over the cities spying on you as you wonder your cities, but speed cameras are definately out of the question.
Gelandangan...You want to stop speeders in front of your house? Get a chair, a clipboard, a pencil and a video camera and sit in front of your house and just point the camera at the cars. You WILL get results...Maybe not what you want, but........

Only problem is when your biking past a speed meter it will measure your speed much faster then you were going.
Cause I honestly can't believe I was biking 54km/33.5miles per hour.

'Mitri...you will be surprised just how fast you can ride a bicycle (Iassume that is what you were riding).
My 25 yr old daughter rides bikes all the time and she is an even bigger ratbag than me...if thats possible. Just recently she completed a 100km (62 miles)charity ride and she averaged 19kph for the entire distance...riding a FIXED WHEEL BIKE...no gears !!! The previous year she rode a geared bike and averaged 28kph for the same distance. When she rides home from work there is a speed camera set up regularly on a down hill (not very steep) section of road. She said that she is determined to trip the radar camera. So far she has been clocked at 68kph in a 60 zone. Highest speed she has attained on her bike is 79kph (down a fairly steep hill though)!!!!
So, get yourself a bike computer mate and set it up...you will be surprised and maybe even shocked...you will see just how fast you really are going.
Cheers, Vince

I had a bike computer, max'ed out at 40km/h which I did regularly before I got a new bike and didn't put it on, but when I got clocked at 54km/h I was going on a straight road with a slight up hill and wasn't going that much faster I dont think then the cars that went before me through it and were clocked at 40-45km/h.
I have been biking to work since I started, one day I didn't bike so far and that was cause I had to take a auto to work cause I was 100km away cause of the snow storm the day before closed the highway for me to get back home sunday. My bike hasn't been put away for the "winter" yet.

Or you could sit in your car with sunglasses on, and point a hair dryer at passing cars. It helps if you have a crown vic, chevy caprice, dodge charger, or a chevy impala.
