Mike,
Reason I want to get into reloading is cause I want to do Service Rifle (different from the American way) up here. Hence I'd like cheaper decently accurate loads. Smile

Hi Dimitri,
Don't skimp on primers for your M1-A. Use the CCI #34 primers that have a heavier cup that helps avoid slam fires that the M-14's and M1-A's are famous for. You don't want to find out the hard way that you should have spent a little more for a safer primer.
I use the #34's in my M1-A Super Match and they provide great accuracy and I have not had a slam fire since changing to them. Yes, I had a couple of slam fires before I switched to the #34's. Something else that I and others lived through only by the grace of God and the muzzle pointing down range.

Popgun,

Planning on reloading for both my M1A and my Enfield. And yes both of them will be using CCI Mil-Spec primers as since they are available and will stop slam fires it would be foolish of me not to.
