My uncle has a Firearms International Corporation, single shot 410 shotgun.

The serial number on the shotgun is:

G9G3B or
6963B

I believe the correct serial number is G9G3B however, the "G" in the serial number may also be a "6".

Does anyone have any information on the year the shotgun was produced and what it might be worth.

Thanks

sorry, sixpoint, I can't help much other than to welcome you to HuntingNut!

Appears an older posts points out that FIC imported arms in the 50's and 60's.

Here is some more detail.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome to HuntingNut.

Looks like it will be a challenge to find specific information and price for this shotgun.

The picture of the 410 from Shotgun world is similar however, my uncles shotgun does not have a wooden stock, it is all metal.

If you know of any other sources for information please let me know.

Thanks........

Have you seen any sell on gun broker. I'm not sure you could sell it for much. If there isn't much on the web, then its unlikely a collector's item.

That brings back old memories! I remember seeing several on various racks at gunshops and at K-Mart (back when they still sold firearms) and thinking that they might serve a niche for the hiking/backpacking bunch. I don't recall comments either pro or con, but it seemed to be an off-shoot of the all metal folding stock .410/.22 RF over and under that was offered as a "survival" gun which I believe was also offered by Garcia, though I may be wrong on that.

My thanks to slimjim, Ominivision1, Elvis and SingleShotLover for your replies.

I do not know how the gun shoots myself. My uncle said he tried it about 30 years ago but hasn't fired the shotgun since. It looks like it just came off the shelf.

I will take a look at gun broker and see if they have anything like it.

If I find any new information I will let you know.

Thanks
