Hey Guys,
How you all doing. I've started reloading for my 300 win mag and just for the heck of it i thought i'd handload some rounds for my mini 14. I picked up some Berger FB Varmit 55 gr. bullets. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions. I cant seem to find too much out there and past experience has told me that this was about the best place to look for the answers or at least point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Rick

check the reloading data section there are heaps of loads there for the mini 14. now Im not being picky but berger bullets are plurry expensive over here super accurate for sure but pricey. now the ol mini 14 has alot going for it but being super accurate is not USUALLY in its resume /job discription. for game the speer 52grn hp is hard to beat and the 50grn hp is great too for varmits ( I head shot a 100lb pig with one) my big bro has a mini 14 and its not too fussy what its fed.

Like Elvis says - you can shoot cheaper bullet just as well in a Mini-14.
I like Varget and 55 JSP's - 27.0 gr., 52 HP or match bullets love 26.5gr. Win 748.
Good luck with it. I have never had a mini that shot real tight groups. 2-4" was about as good as it got.

sierra 1345's are a super explosive 55g. softnose that feed well out of semi-.223's
