has any one tried out the rem 700 vsf? thinkin about buying one in 308 cal

I don't have one personally, however, our shop has sold two of them in 308 Win and the accuracy has been above expectation according to the owners. Now what "above expectation" means is rather open ended, but, I've seen his 5 shot groups @ 200yds that maintain .5 MOA for three consecutive groups.

The aforementioned groups were using handloads and 155gr Bergers.

The other rifle's owner uses S African surplus ammo that we sell and is getting MOA.
