I just bought my first new gun. Left hand Ruger M77 mark II. It took 3 years for the gun and $$ to be in the same place at the same time. I think If you find one, in a sutable cal. , from any of the big makers buy it.

P.S. Hey Handloader, They told me that left hand T3's wouldn't be out till 2007?

Craig Boddington wrote a pretty good article on LH bolt rifles here a few months ago in Guns and Ammo. It had some good points on why a lefty should definitely shoot a LH gun.

I had and eye injury here a few years ago that damaged the nerve and muscles in my eyelid. I bought a LH rifle and used it two years. It was a little awkward to get used being a RH shooter my whole life but it sure beat not being able to keep my right eye open and not shooting. I was able to retrain my muscles and everything is back to normal so the Remington 700 LSS LH 300 Remington Ultra Magnum is just sitting in the safe. I actually put it in the For Sale section if you are interested.

I have posted in 5 or more forums looking for a LH Savage for my nephew.
Was directed to an on line gun auction but price was as much as new one with accu-trigger. Was also contacted by some one else and they have older one in stainless for around $350.00. Just waiting for reply from him.
