It is worse for them down there then for us watching it, because Death down in Latin America is symbolized by a little blond girl similar to the "ghost" in that video. Laughing

If they tried that here in the USA it would be a field day for the lawyers as there would be lawsuits abounding for mental anguish and suffering !!!

Doesnt mean I havent done similar stuff on Halloween though but that was then and I wouldnt try it now. Not everyone has my sense of humour...

that would not be funny if someone had a heart attack or had lashed out and hurt the wee girl... the programme Americas funniest videos has really made this sort of crappy stunt seen acceptable. I wont let my kids watch it as it gives a bad example.

Yeah I think the little girl was lucky she wasn't harmed because of it. To me it was just creepy. My sister watched it and said she was laughing (with her daughter) over it to tears. Like watching guys getting racked in the balls, it just doesn't seem funny to me to scare people to death.

PaulS!! Yes I've had two "paranormal" things happen to me, one was scary and the other was just weird. One happened during an earthquake. It was very early morning in bed alone, it seemed the entire house moved about 3ft or so and then moved back, as if a truck had hold of the house and pushed it forward and pulled it back. It woke me up to find my dead Great Grandma was pulling the blanket over my face. She was as a ghost and so was the blanket. Another time I was laying in bed alone (again always alone in bed?) and in the same house when I heard footsteps on the floor above me (2 story house). I got up and went upstairs and realized the second floor didn't extend over my bedroom. It was just weird. Ok there was another time I can remember we were putting a new foundation under the house and the house was jacked up, came in the house and a clay pot was sitting on the floor in front of the cabinet that stored it. The clay pot has been in the back of the cabinet and would have to jump over the other dishes in the cabinet to get on the floor but nothing was disturbed and the door was closed, clay pot sitting upright not broken it was freaky.

Yep, I lived in a house that was "occupied" by two very "playful" spirits. They liked to "appear" in the back door window and scare my (ex)wife. They took things and then brought them back - the worst of these events was one night when I was fixing dinner. I laid a whole chicken on the counter so I could get the broiler pan. I turned around and it was gone - the chicken!
I said in a very stern voice that I was going to leave the room and when I came back it had better be on the counter where I left it. I walked into the halll and back and the chicken was right where I had left it.
I eventually had to send them on their way home but they were with me in that house longer than my wife.
I used to get called upon to do home blessings and spirit removal. I never ran across anything I couldn't handle but I have been told of others who have. Typically you can tell them the rules and they obey or just do a good cleansing with Sage and Holy Water. If someone has given more power to them then you have to use traps or force.

I cannot say that I have any paranormal happenings to me yet.
I hope it will happen at least once before I am gone.
If it does, it will give me hope that there are some continuation in life.
