This whole story stinks of some kind of political set up. Gun ban loving Obama just got re-elected. DiFi has been writing her latest and greatest AWB for a year now and is planning on bringing it to both houses of Congress in January. The U.N. small arms ban is up for a vote and this Newtown story has more holes in it than a colander.

Our laws gun were introduces in a similar way.
Newly elected representative an abhorrent act and a media frenzy

In 1941, U.S. Attorney General Robert Jackson called on Congress to enact national registration of all firearms. Given events in Europe, Congress recoiled, and legislation was introduced to protect the Second Amendment. Rep. Edwin Arthur Hall explained: "Before the advent of Hitler or Stalin, who took power from the German and Russian people, measures were thrust upon the free legislatures of those countries to deprive the people of the possession and use of firearms, so that they could not resist the encroachments of such diabolical and vitriolic state police organizations as the Gestapo, the Ogpu, and the Cheka."

Google has banned the video...interesting...wonder who instructed them to do so? Hey Troubles...can't get to see a pic of the rifle...BUGGER.

Tiks is totally correct...the same happened out here...a knee jerk reaction by a newly elected Govt to appease the horror felt by the public, and the ANTIs screamed blue murder about (of course they would, it supported their agenda) after an abhorrent act by a nutcase, although the jury is still out, "and dismissed", as to what many believe is the truth about the shooting. The case is closed - by the Govt of course - we will never know the real truth about how many shooters their actually were, and their motives.

Yup the Video is working, here is the direct link

Regardless what or how it is , it does seems that there are a lot of confusion as to what happened and how it happen.

The plot thicken..

Some sources said that a Saiga shotgun was in the car. Of course with the mishmash of misinformation we've been fed who knows? The fact that the media seems to be INCREDIBLY ignorant about guns doesn't help clear things up.

Also in the video is the coroner explaining that in his opinion all the murders were done with the "long gun".....which was found in the trunk of the car. His name was not Red Skelton but he did it all very straight faced and sober looking. The gun in the trunk part of the video (seemingly taken from a helo high above the scene) was a bit fuzzy but you can clearly see the officer cycling the bolt (like an AK on the side of the receiver) several times and it appears there is a pistol grip slightly hidden from view by the officer's arm. I watched that part of the video several times and I'm convinced it's an Ak type rifle, not an AR. Where did the media pick up the Bushmaster idea? That was something I thought was rather quick for the media to identify, even though it was dark at night when the officers were filmed, the media seemed to know it was a Bushmaster rifle and it obviously isn't even an AR. HHhhhhmmmmm.....now about that private meeting of Obama and the media the other day..............did he offer up some holiday cookies and milk? or just lay out his best laid plans for disarming a nation?

I am throwing the BS flag on the whole situation.
No one is considering the families, And not once have I heard how the shooter got past the front door.

Shocked Wiersy-it was reported days ago by some media outlet that he shot out the glass of the door and climbed thru the open hole. But you are right-this whole thing stinks of sceme and coverup!Democrats /anti gunners are certainly "working"their agenda! And the media "talking heads" are the "useful idiots" of the "party"!

I think you are right Suz...it certainly appears to be an AK47 or one of that family of firearms. Interesting that the police officer handling it obviously didn't have much of an idea about what it may be from the way he was studying it after checking that it was unloaded.

The entire thing stinks of ANTIs and obscure agendas. Also Wiersay is right...the shooter, the firearms and the agendas of "interested parties" is the focus of the media and the Govt when as he rightfully says "No one is considering the families"
