Sure our founders put that system in place, but Obama has been undermining the constitution and bill of rights that provides those checks at every opportunity. One other check the founders put in place for politicians like Obama, our second amendment rights!

How about that pathetic performance that he displayed today on his special press conference about the firearms bills not passing-reminded me of a young teenage girl having a fit when told she could'nt stay out late and play with the boys!trying to shame the senate,the public,and the nra for not allowing his "agenda" to be passed!His "handlers"at the un will be unhappy with him now!Barry-you got some splainin to do!

I just watched the video of his speech, indeed Glockman, what a piece of work he is. Joe at his side with the upside down grin and Gabby on the other side of him looking like a scolded child. Over and over stating that 90% of Americans wanted this to be approved....the NRA blatently lied about the terms of the legislation, which made some senators cave in to the pressure, he goes beyond a shameful court marshaling of the senate...shows a lot of persed lip berating as if someone just pantsed him in front of his girlfriend showing off his lack of flint colored donkeyness. What a piece of work indeed. He not only shamed his party by his arrogance of displeasure he has shamed the very people standing by his side in hope of redemption. They know better now, than to listen to such rhetoric in the belief that a background check is going to curb any sort of violence, or is going to keep lawless criminals from getting a gun.

As if all guns are aquired by legal means, as if criminals are shakin in their boots wondering what they're going to do now, as if they're safe from mass murders. Hopefully he's also shamed the very folks that voted for him to wonderously cure all their problems with his prolific ability to charm and mesmerize, hypnotically pulling dollars from their paychecks to over-ride his selfish un-nerving spending habits, casually bankrupting the nation and alienating our good standing. Those that hate us have been re-fueled and energized by his ignorance and disreguard for military superiority, his lack of diplomacy and his reliance of the UN for guidance.

Yup he got some splainin to do and you can tell it wears on him. I think he's done-for and I think he knows it. The idiots at his side will still encourage him to push, and they'll still believe in him, but the other 90% of Americans know a stupid when they see one. He thinks deception can overcome Americanism, and he didn't get that impression from the Americans I know, he got it from the Americans he knows. He's been eating at the wrong table all his life.

Don't have the fortitude Vinnie and besides that I enjoy a quiet life. I don't even stir the pot, I just bitch and complain and support those that enjoy the stirring. They've done a good job, just yesterday the gun bills were shot down. Actually the Democrats did themselves in. They took away at the last minuet, a section of the bill that both sides had agreed would make it an even parlay. The Republicans decided it was an underhanded scheme and voted it down. Obama calls it shameful, I call Obama shameful. They, as always, have mis-represented (lied) to get their way. The tricks are out in the open now, and not too many Americans are blind to them. He can whimper all he wants but he's not suckling cause all his teeth have broken through and it just hurts too much to let him try. The Sequester thing when he decided to quit allowing tours of the White House but continue his families' magical voyages around the globe at our expense was not the tipping point but it sure helped.

He just can't understand that a vote is a vote. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose and he can't get it in his head what losing means. It means we the people don't want it, the end, that's it, deal with it. Don't shove it down our throats by some other means, we just told you we don't want it!! Just because you want it (Mr. President) doesn't mean it's right for the American people. Local politics is the same way, they tend to find other means to get things passed when in fact the people just voted it down. No means no, isn't that what they tell girls to say on their first date? Someone needs to remind him to tell his girls that cause obviously he has no clue and we don't want anymore little bstrds like him around here.
