Bushmaster,
Sorry shouldnt be reading 2 things at the same time lol. I thought you ment you had a computer without XP
Anyways I build my own computer about 3 years ago this summer. Put in the best I could afford (set me back over 2000$). Now I realize it will be usefull for me and what I do on it for atleast another 10 years as I dont think I'm ever gonna be using something that requires its processing power
The thing is if you dont play the latest and greatest games you dont need that good of a system. I mean I got a laptop I use (its a tiny Toshiba 300CT) with a 133Mhz CPU and 64MB's of Ram but it works great for my programming and my browsing the internet and doing 90% of what I do. (Execpt downloading stuff and it has no DVD-RW/CD-ROM ... which my desktop covers.).
I myself think buying the latest and greatest in computers is not that smart anymore. In a year after you buy it the price will normally almost be cut in half depending on what extras you put in.

NO!!! 1895ss has the problem of a stone age computer...
Besides just as soon as you get it home and plug it in it's obsolete...

Stoneage computer. Now thats a tough one.
Mind you look at half the stuff thats in space right now. They are probrobly older then his.
It takes years for them to ok it for space, and many more years for them to program it.

Anyways it "quit" last year when I decided to pull it apart. I got its old Motorola 68K processor around here somewhere

Who do you have sharpen your chisles for you 1895ss...
I have one that is probably older then yours next to my loading bench. As soon as I can find a free monitor I plan on dumping everything in it and reload it with Windows ME...And use it as an off line storage system and problem solver for my loading bench...
