Some lots of 22-250 Remington and 243 Winchester ammo have been recalled due to possible multiple loading of bullets into the case.

Remington has determined that one specific lot code of the 100 round box of 38 SPECIAL+P 125 GRAIN SEMI-JACKETED HOLLOW POINT (L38S2B) ammunition, may contain 357 Magnum ammunition. This packaging mix is specific to lot number: P24UA18R only. DO NOT USE. Usage of 357 Magnum ammunition in 38 Special firearms could result in firearm damage and personal injury.

I didn't think you could put a 357 round into a 38....
Isn't the case too long?

I think it is 357 powder loads into a 38 brass..
possible if using some low density powder.

It's Remington covering all the bases - ammunition is indeed .357mag so wont fit for anyone except brainless gorillas using brute force.
Unfortunately those gorillas have to be protected from themselves, thus denying Darwin any success in cleaning up the gene pool. Very Happy

Thanks OV1. There is no easy way to inform buyers when they get bad ammunition like this. Wrong powder!?!? I wouldn't want to drop the hammer on those rounds.

This just illustrates how dangerous handloading can be.

You should always use factory ammunition to be safe.

No, the 22 ammo has a lack of a crimp. not dangerous but it could get messy if a bullet popped of in the magazine.

Yeah I sort of thought that myself....they're recalling ammo that you can't get anyway.
