SJ, when you get some years, you start to realize you better leave some things to others...
and concentrate on the easy things that could make you happy.
Remember: you can be very happy with the things you already own or do,
instead of trying to get the things that 'might' satisfy you...
but will cost you a leg and a kidney to obtain.
to try too often even can kill a dog...

come-on, Aloys! you only make me want to try more. I started out archery shooting instinctive, two eyes open, fingers only. I only just shifted to a peep-sight and release. I'm not going to try and catch or split incoming arrows without safety glasses. I think I'll buy a recurve bow and ten arrows without sharp edges and see what I can do.

I do have such a bow, but it's no fun always searching for the arrows when you miss... so now I only use that bow to get a rope for my dove-decoys in the high trees.
