Here is a Remington XP-100 that I just finished, in 6mm Bench Rest...

A butt stock can be added to this gun, to allow it to be shot as a rifle, if one were so inclined to do so...

WOW that isn't something we see everyday!!!!!!
very nice work indeed
what is the engraving on side under bolt handle??? looks like a 7 and f joined back to back
what is intended use of this wonderfull piece??? prairie dogs perhaps???
and finally (although hardly need to ask) how does she shoot???? tiny wee groups if we know your usual standard.

I've shot a couple of XP-100s mate...but they didn't look anywhere near as nice as this one. The alloy stock/frame/platform looks like it is made in three pieces (maybe four if the trigger guard is a separate piece), and it looks very business like...and awesome. The brake looks outstanding as usual, and I'm damned if I can pick the join point to the barrel.

I'm sure it would clean up in an IHMSA shoot, but something tells me it isn't really destined for that scene. I'm with Elvis...prairie dogs better start ducking for cover, even out to around 500 yards which the 6mm BR round is well capable of achieving.

You have done it again...blown my mind with not only the standard of your workmanship, but also the innovative ideas incorporated into this fine looking firearm. Well done mate...take a well deserved bow Bow and pat on the back.

Elvis and Vince - thank you both for the compliments...

This gun was built for a female target shooter! Accuracy is under 1/2" @ 200 yds. on a bad day. It may see the occasional varmint but, it's intended purpose is competition...

Effective barrel length is 15 15/16" and the addition of my muzzle brake makes the overall barrel length 17 1/2"...

Vince, you are not supposed to see a seam line between the barrel and brake. If you ever see a seam line between the barrel and brake on my builds luke this, then I'm not doing my job!

The company that makes this stock, also makes a butt stock that attaches to the pistol grip, so it can actually be shot as a rifle as well...

Mate, you have every reason to be proud of this gun...it is outstanding, and I'm drooling into my keyboard again.

I would love to get this baby out onto a prairie dog town and have a little fun. It would be interesting to see how it performed at 300 yards+.

Mate sitting behind this baby overlooking the Mackenzie basin sniping rabbits would be fun,but perched up in wallaby country waiting for them to move would be just plurry awesome...and it would be a breeze to carry it in back pack too. beautiful craftsmanship.
