Hi, guys! I was wondering if anyone can advise me on which rifle scope is best for Varmint hunting? I was told that Barska 10-40x50 mildot is a great scope for varmint hunting. I have Remington 870 with a double cylinder. I'm a Newbie when it comes to hunting and I will really appreciate your kind advice.

Vince, I think I can help here Smile

Tesler, I do like the Barska 10-40x50 with mildots etc. but I also have a much cheaper chinese 10-40x50 with mildots, water-level inside and a blue lighted cross which I like much more as it's about the same quality and even with all the extra's was costing less than halve the price of the Barska... and for your info: my Barska is on a .222 Rem while the other one is on a Sendero in .300 WM...
so search and you will find

A scope on a shotgun can be a great help when you don't see your barrel. When it's dark your light usualy will go to the target and have you ever tried to 'aim' a shotgun without seeing the barrel? But even for this matter I will never recommend a 10-40x (unless your shotgun gives good groupes at +100 yards Smile )

so even spam can get a counterattack with serious talkings and jokes on the Nut...
