There's a company started producing monolithic bullets in the Czech Republic & they're a lot easier to get hold of over here than the US made Barnes & Hornady offerings.
Picked up a box of 130gr on Wednesday & when i get a minute I'll load some up & see how they shoot.
They also do a 150gr which they say stabilises in a 1:10 twist barrel due to the shape making it shorter than the Barnes TSX.
I'm hoping for a few of the latter to try before I buy.

English Mike, looks interesting. Let us know how they perform. If you can spare a few, I can test expansion and measure BC for you.

intreging..... personally I wouldnt bother with 150grn mono and would if anything look lighter rather than heavier..... the figures Slimjim put up a year or so back had me scratching my head to start with but make sense when you look harder.

good point, Elvis. The 150 (145) will be slower to start with and have more drag because of its shape so won't run out as well. The 130, because it should retain all its weight, will have plenty of mass to penetrate.

Elvis, this is one for my .270 Win. The 130 GMX (would be the same for 129 LRX) has the balance of MV and BC to pass the 110 and stay ahead of the heavier bullets.
