SUNDAY 2-21 2021

Well it has been a very scary week for the family and me. My youngest son and his wife both got covid, on 18 . It hit my son hard on the 21st ,went to the hospital and they flew him to Billingd clinic hospital and put him in I C U , he was there for two days and it was touch and go .they got him stabilized and put him in a room. It was pretty much touch and go untill the 26th. he started to improve a little, the next day a little more and improved alittle each day.
He has asthma and the onset of diabetes which made it worse. The damage to his lungs may put him put him on oxygen the rest of his life . he is 52 yr old.
But all in all it looks like he will make it through this ..

Gee, I’m really sorry to hear this Trembles, that’s terrible...please pass on my prayers and hopes for a complete recovery mate, to both him and his SWMBO.

I am sorry to hear that.
I hope he get better soon without much damage to his lungs.

He is not that much younger than I am, and I also have diabetes and asthma so I am fully scared up.

He is gets up and moves around a little and the lung specalist said he has made a little progress and getting a little better

I hope he makes a full recovery mate.
This is a reminder to us all to continue taking whatever reasonable precautions we can.

when you see "son" you think "young"... and 52 is still young, but not for covid. So we can only hope, pray and wait because covid doesn't care about wishes.

I hope he recovers.
This drives home the little advertised fact this disease has for some that dont die long term or chronic infirmary.
The media dont mention it much, they just focus on the numbers who die and who live.
