Friends....My good friend, Greg Sappington, says I should post this here? Dixie Slugs is considering a hard cast heat treated 12 ga sabot round-50 caliber. What we need is some 12 ga sabots......anyone know where this can be acquired?.....Thanks and Regards, James@Dixie Slugs

Sounds like you need a mold and melting pot. I don't remember who but one of the mold makers has a sabot mold. RCBS, Lyman, Lee, etc. or have a mold made to your specifications. Wish I was of more help.

Friends All......Dixie Slugs is considering a sabot round that has a 50 cal hard cast heat treated bullet in a 12 bore/gauge sabot for large and/or dangerous game. After looking all over, we may have found the plastic sabot we want! If it works, we will have Steve @ Victoty Molds lathe cut the proper bullet. Thanks to all that responded!........James@Dixie Slugs
