It's arguable our joint national day...more so than any other. The Gallipoli campaign was terrible for all involved and even now 110 years later the "butchers bill" makes for terrible reading. God bless all service folk.

In my area, this year the turnout is definitely awesome, I think it is roughly twice of the usual amount that is coming, and it is in the rain too.
A lot of children as well.
