I hope all our KIWI and Aussie mates had a fantastic ANZAC Day whilst remembering those who fought for our freedoms or gave their all so that we may enjoy our life, free from oppressions.

For those who aren’t aware of ANZAC…it stands for Australia and New Zealand Army Corp…a term coined in Gallipoli, Turkey on the slopes of the hills where the soldiers were landed in World War One. It is the only time (that I am aware of) where we celebrate a defeat, but more so the bonding of two nations, Australia and New Zealand…Brothers for ever more.

It's arguable our joint national day...more so than any other. The Gallipoli campaign was terrible for all involved and even now 110 years later the "butchers bill" makes for terrible reading. God bless all service folk.

In my area, this year the turnout is definitely awesome, I think it is roughly twice of the usual amount that is coming, and it is in the rain too.
A lot of children as well.
