Speaking of light loads... I found some chamber adaptors that allow you to shoot .32 ACP in a .308 Win. I bought one but haven't tried it yet. (I really am becoming a "collector" more than a "shooter".)

You look after yourself mate.you will love light loads in 308. Both Speer 130hp and 125 TNT are awesome to use.

or a powder coated lead bullet of the .32 ACP - 85-90 grn...

they even sell .30 pellets and slugs for airrifles...

Now there’s some food for thought…thanks Aloys.

Good idea mate. I bought a .410 Chamber Mate for my 12g some years ago, and it works a treat…even patterns the same as a full barrel .410 shottie. A guy I know made a .22 rimfire insert for a 12g some years ago…I believe it works well.
I’ll have to have a look at the “cast size” of .32 bullets Scratch , might be good for subsonic and plinking rounds from the 308.

By the way when you want to laugh: due to some strange verdict of a judge in the highest court we are now no longer allowed to reload our own ammo unless we have the same permit as a real ammofactory, including all safety arrangements and rules concerning the environment...

Tough we still are allowed to have 2 kg powder and 5000 primers in our house, but are no longer allowed to use it without this special permit...

you can compare it with: being allowed to keep a 5 l drum gas in your garage but when you want to pour it into your car or mowingmachine you need the allowance of a gasstation...

Scratch Scratch wtf That is ludicrous mate…beyond crazy…so much so it hurts my sensibilities. It sounds like one more step towards an outright banning of private firearm ownership mate. It’s just like the old Chinese torture…death by a thousand cuts. The Govt (and ANTIs) slowly but surely eat their way into private firearm ownership until you are left with nothing. Mad Mad Mad The next step will be access to, and storage, of factory ammunition…they’ll make it so hard (as they have with reloading) to buy and hold factory ammo that you won’t be able to have any. You have my sympathy’s mate.
