well my wee holiday is over....AND those plurry wallabies had the last laugh on me...over last fortnight I have managed to shoot four, all up back of farm.ive watched driveway for hours, stood and froze watching, snuck down at sunset, snuck down in middle of night but didnt see a one..today,driving out with rifle buried in rear of wagon we saw not one,not two but three of the huas sitting out in open laughing at us,two of them were on driveway itself..and one was still sitting on side of track ten minutes later when I walked back up to conceal key..rifleless of course.

WOW that is one massive lump of bacon mate. Are the porkers over there clean, or do the suffer with parasites, worms etc?
If they are clean, you have a good supply of pork. Come to think of it…HEY EVERYBODY, we might have a BBQ coming up at Elvis’s place…if Becs can put up with us.

cleaner than a clean thing mate... wild pork is a staple in our household... this boar will hang for few days then Mate will skin it,bone it out and take into local butcher who will chuck it through mincer in about 30 seconds flat!!!! we then bag it all up into pound lots and have great delight in giving it away...never a problem to find willing folks to take it.
my favourite eating pig is sow under 100lb or boar under 80lb. I singe them with lpg flame thrower so the skin is there to keep the moisture in when cooking.

Great pictures! These were so big I've taking a first pass at fixing the bug, and forcing them to auto-size to fit a screen. I'm liking it so far
