That fairly decent mileage out of a V8 mate. Around town I get 26.9 mpg ad on thr highway around 40.3 mpg. That’s from a bi-turbo 5 cylinder Volvo diesel.

I used to use the Lee sizing lube and had been for over 30 years without any issues. I would wipe clean sometime but most left it on.

I watched a video on the Hornady One Shot case lube by F Class John.

I started using it and I'm not looking back. I lay the the clean, deprimed and annealed brass on a tray and spray the lube on, roll it around and then resize and run the brass though the mandrel die. Some times I wipe the brass.

Upon firing I have never had an extraction issue.

I highly recommend this lube.

I used One Shot a while back using the same [tray, spray and roll] and ended up having to un-stick .30-06 cases from the resizing die. Found that One Shot made a great desqueaker for my wife's rocking chair.

My choice of case lube is pure lanolin. Takes very little and I can resize two to three cases before having to lube another case.
