Its amusing we used to talk about new Calibers, new Firearms, new Optics, new Handloads...
Now its new Hip, new Knee... new Shoulder... new medications, new symptoms.
LOL! Lots of great folk posting here for over 20 years now. Dimitri has kids about older than he was when he first started posting here. Kindof interesting

A few years ago I was talking to my best friend on the phone about our current aches and pains and he stopped for a second or two. Then he said "You know, we used to talk about FUN stuff!" We still have fun stuff to talk about too!

Just getting back here.
Dallan, what you said isa so true!
Surgery went very well, and the pain is, IMO, minimal unless I do something stupid, which I've done a couple of times.
I have a Jarhead (he didn't bring crayons) here from NC looking after me. I didn't ask him, he said "i'm there." We've been friends for 19 years or so.
I'm doing my exercises and pushing myself, does it hurt? Hell yeah! But pushing through.
Dale has been a great help with the meds and the exercises. I start physio a week tomorrow.

great to read you through the surgery....
yip pushing ones self seems to be part of the daily routine of late.
big day out on hill shooting wallabies yesterday ,fired 16 rounds for 13 kills, one just didnt want to give up so copped it 3 times!!!!
today Im off for a pig hunt...knee is a bit tender, back keeps locking up if foot slips so I wont be doing much running...until dog barks lol.
stay safe out there folks...and Pete, you just keep on keeping on.
