I don't deer hunt much but i do hunt Feral pigs and will be going in March 2007 for that i use a Desert Eagle 50.cal with 6" barrel 300 to 350 grain action express. I know to some that may seem like overkill but believe me it's not.

I believe you! I hunt the wild Russian cross boar in Tenn, I use my DEP in 44 or 50ae as well. Bout time I read some one else uses a Desert Eagle too!
