A Possum Hollow case trimmer. It looked like a good idea at the time. Don't bother, even the cheapest Lee creation does a superior job. It chatters so much , case mouths look frilly! Confused

Or... a set of the Lyman scale check weights. It's the little set, which Lyman sent me for free, and it only goes to 21 1/2 gr., but very handy, and close enough to zero the scale for larger weights. For that, though, I use a very expensive tool... Laughing ...a 53 gr. varmint bullet that actually weighs 53gr!

I zero the scale with it before every bench session. I talked a buddy out of it...actually 5, and took the one closest to adverised weight.

Or, my Lyman "M" step expander die. Instead of the usual expander plug in decap/size die, which can bell pistol brass so it looks like a trumpet. (don't ask how I know this!) The Lyman has a 2 diameter expander plug--the first, slightly larger than the sized case i.d., and the next step, just over bullet diameter.

Technically, it works the brass less, and it does provide for secure start for bullets prior to seating/crimping. No more bullets falling off the brass when you pick them out of the loading block to put them in the press! Very Happy I think Midway has them.

Or...medical forceps, dental picks, 91% rubbing alcohol, (the bottle makes a nifty camera flash diffuser when it is empty) and scissors. I couldn't live without them. Smile
