I don't know how many of you have had a chance to try out the ballistics program the site offers but if you have the time, try it, IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!
I've been having a lot of pigs come into my deer feeder which is 417 yards off my back porch. I've had limited success hitting them on a regular basis so I figured the best thing to do would be to sight the rifle in at exactly 417 yards. My pig gun is a 270 Weatherby Mag shooting 150 grain factory ammo. I entered all the relevant info into the program at a target distance of 417 yards. The program said I should sight in at 5.5 inches high at 100 yards, which I did.
Since doing that I've killed 5 pigs by just putting the crosshairs on them and squeezing the trigger. The bullets have either hit exactly where I was aiming or within 2 to 3 inches of where the crosshairs were placed.
Give the program a try, you'll like it, but pigs hate it!!LOL!!
