Welcome to the forums!
Never seen Red Ryder myself I don't think.
Also not really a Western but a Comedy about westerns that I always find funny when I watch it is Blazing Saddles.

+1 for "Blazing Saddles" which is often on the Top 10 list of all movies!
My list would also include "Open Range" which, of course, is simply a parordy of "Blazing Saddles".

A Parody of a Parody! I am not sure if I've seen it, must track it down and rent it now!

Dimitri: Keep in mind, Grasshopper, that life itself is often parody and paradox. Of what is the subject of discussion, debate, delusion and delite.
"Open Range" will not disappoint.

You guys have covered most of those I like but, here are a couple I don't think were mentioned.
Will Penny
Cheyenne Social Club
And I'll put in another vote for Jeremiah Johnson. AKA Liver Eatin' Johnson. That part didn't make the movie.
I know that I liked Rex Allen, Tom Mix, Lash Larue & The Cisco Kid when I was young. Just can't remember the movie names. But, some of them were mostly serials.
