I have been shot with a 22 pistol. The gun was loaded with ratshot. It looked like someone took an icepick to me. There were holes everywhere. It hurt like all getout. I have a good friend who was shot in the ankle with a 12 ga, shotgun,hunting accident,he has a lot of scars but not real damage.

Nope I can't say that I have because I avoid shooters that are careless, I mean I won't go anywhere with people I don't trust where guns are involved.

Have to go along with the wise man from Rapid Creek on that one. I did come close once because some guys docked at our camp and came up, turned out the guy was drunk and wanting to show off his new .30-.30 but we talked him into putting it down.

But I would trust you tracker ...................

got hit with a little shaving from a .22 revolver with a bad indexer on it.. does this count? and yes i took the gun away from him and got it fixed..

Yes. I suggest avoiding it if at all possible.

for l havent been shot with a bullet, but pretty much yes to the others
and have been stabbed once in a knife fight but that was way long
ago
could say i was shot with a knife in this instance.

Never been shot with a firearm, gotten shot with paintball guns, waterguns, airsoft guns, doctor's needles and the like.

I've not always been the picture of innocence you see before you today. I'm not trying to pretend I lived through any rougher lifestyle than anyone else. but I had some challenges. My Pops lived on the opposite side of town, and during one of my "custody" visits to HIS neighborhood,while on the way to the local store, I was jumped by 4 "NON-WHITE" individuals, dragged down the street to a playground, forced to spend the next several hours in one of those 4' concrete bell-end pipes they use in the playgrounds, and when I finally was able to make a break, I ended up with a 22 through my right shoulder.

I was 13 years old at the time. No one was ever prosecuted. No one witnessed anything. It has since been considered an act of urban warfare. NUFF said.

I too have been shot with, a BB, blowgun dart, paintball, and a water gun. I was hit with a shard of ricochet from a .22 short slug at a shooting gallery when I was a kid. It only burned a chunk out of the top of my left hand. nothing serious.

I have had a few close calls while hunting, I wish I never had. I hope none of you can ever answer my question: Can you see the sunlight reflecting of a high powered rifle slug passing a few feet away from you? I thought I did.

Like the rest of you I try to avoid such situations.

Never hit directly, but I was hit in the eyebrow by a ricochet .22 lr bullet when I was a kid, split my brow and to this day I have a "bald" spot on my left eyebrow. Hit in the neck by another ricochet .22 bullet which earned me a trip to the ER. Still have that scar also. My dad is missing a toe thanks to an "unloaded" .410 in the hands of his brother.

I've been shot at and missed...Thank God...

Not with a firearm but I have been nailed in the eyebrow by my cousin with his Red Ryder I did see it coming but I was not able to "duck" it. I am also fairly certain that we had nailed each other with a sling shot and gravel road rocks, but I am a little foogy on it.
