I was just wondering have any of you have read Unintended Consequences by John Ross? I found the book hard to read as it seemed that the first part was too long and it took forever to set up the action at the end.
I did find the historical events enlightening as I did not know anything about the bonus march or the beginning of US gun control in the late 1930's. I think all gun owners should read it just for the historical information.

I've never even heard of it.

This is a seminal book that any RTKBA gunowner should read and relish. It may be among the most definitive books on the subject and a fun, disturbing and inspiring read. 861 pages.
Ross is an investment banker that lives in St Louis. I envy Bushy for having met him.

BUSHMASTER, I TOO AM ENVIOUS. WAS HE JUST ATTENDING OR DID HE SPEAK OR BETTER YET DID HE BRING THE 4 GAUGE? I SAW A TV SHOW, GUNS AND AMMO TV I THINK IT WAS, WHERE HE WAS SHOOTING SOME OF HIS GUNS IN A GRAVEL PIT NO LESS (IT'S IN THE BOOK) THAT SHOW SAID SMITH & WESSON WAS MAKING A SPECIAL RUN OF 500'S FOR HIM. HE TRULY IS ONE OF THE GREAT STARS OF THE "GUN CULTURE." HE WOULD PROBABLY BE A HOUSEHOLD NAME EXCEPT FOR THE #%&*@! NICE PEOPLE THAT RUN HOLLYWOOD. IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT MOVIE.
