just to introduce myself I am a gunsmith - custom rifle builder in AZ. I am also a licensed falconer. I do most any thing to get out hunting at any chance that I can. I spend every day out hunting in the fall threw spring. here is a pic of me and my coopers hawk.

Thanks Phill.

Welcome to HuntingNut dirthawker2004. Grab a beer mate, pull up a stump and sit awhile. I look forward to reading about your hunting experiences, especially with your beautiful looking hawk, and rifle your building skills...with pics hopefully.

Cheers, Vince

here is one of the guns that we finished over the summer and the customer backed out of the payment. it is a 7MM STW with a 26" barrel, English walnut thumb hole stock, ebony grip cap and for end cap. after the accuracy testing the 3 hole group was as seen in the last pic. my sis did the engraving befor she quite to raise a child and her husband to lol.

the real reason that I took up falconry is because AZ is a draw tag state for most everything. with falconry I can get out anytime I want. it is just to tough to get drawn for anything in this state. I haven't gotten to go deer hunting in 7 yrs. but I have gotten 2 elk tags in the last 10yrs. but now that I have gotten into falconry there is nothing I would rather do for the most part.
