I have an Old Army, .457 Ruger black powder revolver serial # 043 that Mr. Ruger his self sold to a friend of his, Mr Clarence Melvin who sold it to me in 1976. I still have it and shoot it quite often.

Thanks stoves - I forgot this built.. it was last year..
I have gone thru many a sleepness nights thinking about a way I could get that baby legally (and affordably) into this country of mine.

Just ordered one of the new Ruger Blackhawk Flattops built on the medium 357 frame, in 44 spl, with a 4 5/8" bbl. Cant wait. rm

rescuemedic: you may be aware, these Rugers have steel grip frames and ejector rod housings. The balance is superb. Congrats!
