I saw the ad for that, mighthave to check it out!
I've explained before that my screen name was inspired by the smoothbore muskets used in the American Civil War. U.S. Grant said something to the effect that "Someone using one of those old pumpkinslingers could shoot at you all day and you wouldn't know it."

If I had the time I would build one!!!!! But the problem would be putting the dang thing together. My personal favorite......Second Amendmant Two.
I think we need to build something bigger than the "Yankee Siege" but then you get the problem of over-powering the "bullet" and having it come apart as it exits the implement. I believe they call this "pieing." instead of pre-mature jacket seperation. HA HA HA HA!!!!!!

" The Road To..." was pretty cool.
'Bad to the Bone' is just nuts.
I liked the mechanical ones....air cannons were like "eh"... the really creative ones were sprung or slung or spun... such awesome backyard engineering!

I saw a pumpkin shooting contest a while back... if I remember right they were hitting ranges well over 2,000 meters.

Bad to the Bone!!! That thing is more than nuts it is just totally insane! I couldn't remember the name of the thing. But there is a reason why they let NO ONE get anywhere NEAR that wobbly sucker at full speed. HA HA HA
