|
Been beating my head against a wall for 5 years now trying to correctly solve the angle calculation thing for PointBlank. Well sierra released an interesting discussion guide on how to calculate it... and its so simple I cant believe it works. They throw out a great many variables I was trying to solve for to make it simple for them but whatever, accuracy should be good to .25MOA or so.
Some of the results are pretty eye opening to say the least. Anyway this will be a new feature in PointBlank v2.0

Dallan -
So when is 2.0 going to be available? And any progress on making it work with 64-bit XP? (Or, more correctly, migrating the tables from 32-bit to 64-bit?)

I've been terribly busy with work and holidays but I plan to get to work on it very soon.
I still for the life of me dont know why it doesnt work on YOUR 64 bit system. I tested it on two 64 bit computers and it worked fine... I wonder if there is a compatability issue with your cpu id like the old Intel math error. Basically any 64 bit computer running a 32 bit application switches to 32bit emulation... there shouldnt be any difference.
Are you running Windows XP 32 bit or the 64 bit version? Maybe its a windows version error...

I got 1 PM that I just responded too. I dont have any idea why the others didnt go through. I'll run some tests and look into it.
