So I have been out for a bit and not paying attention to the site. I was transferred up to our Canadian office a couple months ago, kind of bumming as it has happened fairly quicky - hadn't thought about the firearm issue as it is a great opportunity. the bummer is I will have to rat hole my pistolas somewhere for a while, and some of my other calibers such as my .25 cal ankle gun I am to understand are illegal calibers there - my concealed carry will go out the window. Should be ok for my long guns - but others will be difficult. My best bet from some of the other Yanks in the office have taken shotguns and rifles, but nobody has tried the pistols - all of them have become permanent residents of Canada (not citizens - just residents) which has allowed them some further priveledges than those with only a work permit.

Have seen some nice deer and a few moose and elk - I will have to dig into this more.....

What province are you going to? Doesn't really matter there's good hunting most everywhere up here. I've been in B.C. since 1974 and just love it.
