Sidney received a very beautriful, expensive parrot as a gift.

Problelm wias, the parrot had a bad attitude, and a mouth that would put an oilfield worker to shame.

Sid tried everything. He played soft classical music, spoke in soothing tones, the parrot yelled, he'd scream right back. Nothing worked.

One day, Sid had enough. The parrot was out of control. Sid grabbed the parrot and stuck him in the freezer.

The parrot was throwing a fit, screaming obscenities, and banging on the freezer door. Then suddenly, a gasp, then silence.

After about a half-hour, sid got concerned. He carefully cracked the door. The parrot hopped out onto his arm, fluffed its feathers, looked him in the eye, and said "Good Sir, I perceive my actions heretofore have caused you much concern. May I have a chance to redeem myself?"

Sid was astonished. Speechless. The parrot then said;"Sir, might I inquire... what did the chicken do?"

pity we cant apply the same with our kids.
