Im thinking of converting my BRNO Model 2 in .22lr to .17 mach 2.
I want to fit the barrel myself, so the question is can this 1974 rimfire be re-barreled and is it dificult to do?
I have asked around a few sites and got no replies what so ever, so its looking like no one wants to touch it with a 40 foot pole!

Any info on this subject will be much appreciated.

cheers

Hi
Being from Australia also you may want to check the price of a barrel before getting to far into it as you can probably buy a new rifle complete for about the same price.
Cheers
John

I have a Sako P94S and Lilja makes drop in 17 HM2 barrels for it.
Maybe send an e-mail to Lilja barrels and see if they can make you one.

Peter Kay in dubbo was advertising in guns and game that he would have the Lilja drop ins for my rifle soon.

He might be worth a try to see it there are any options. He hasn't answer the last 2 times I have called though.
If you get onto him can you ask about the drop ins for the P94S for me- thanks

later
P
