I just heard from my Daughter that her friend is headed to Melbourne to attend Swinburne for her Winter semester as an exchange student. She normally attends Delaware State as an engineering student, but decided she needed a bit of adventure in her life. With tuition, transportation, room and board it comes to a pricey $11,000 for one month.
BTW, my 20 year old Daughter just graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I couldn't be more proud of her. This fall I get to pay for her Masters degree!

Melbourne is an interesting city BB...she will enjoy it for sure. $11K for all of that isn't too bad mate...the air fares alone will come close to half of it I reckon.

Seriously though, it's what we do for our kids to give them the best possible start and chance in life.

+1 congrats to your daughters bachelor degree.

Melbourne is one of the better city for intro to Oz.
With its European style cobbled city street walks, nice and orderly city blocks and awesome inhabitant..
Better tell her pack a brolly, coz Melbourne is synonym of rain.
