So where the heck have you been? Is it gettin wintery there with the wind and the rain? Looks like east coast US is warm, west coast (where I am) is cold and wet, mud slides and flooding with a steady stream of weather headed our way. Did you get any shooting done in the US this year? Hope all is well with you EMike.

Been on the west side of the Pond a couple of times this year - was in GA, AL & NM in November.
Met up again with a couple of guys from OR whilst in AL - it's become a kind of ritual that a dozen or so of us meet up at a friend's place in the middle of rural AL each November & spend a few days shooting.
Drove down to White Sands whilst in NM & visited some of the Spanish ruins on the way.
Sadly no hunting but plenty of shooting, with my handgun proficiency probably being as good as it's ever been.
If you've seen anything about floods in Cumbria then that's where I'm at, though thankfully not directly affected. Some folks have been flooded out three times so far this month. I fear they will suffer again, with another bad storm & 6-8" of rain forecast for Boxing Day.
I've turned my hand to sausage making & those who tried my first batch were mighty impressed.
Next up is the dry cure bacon I have in the fridge - needs to come out for a bath a dying in the next day or so but I'm kinda tied up doing Christmas dinner for mum, my sister & brother.
Enough rambling anyway - I hope all here have a great Christmas & New Year.
