Can I buy the Savage Accu-Trigger to replace my old stock trigger on my mod.116, 7mm mag? Or do they just come on the new rifles.
It might be a dumb question, but savage web site says nothing, must want me to just by a new gun.

The Accu-trigger will not work because the safety design was changed for the Accu-trigger rifle models. As 10ring said, you can replace the old trigger with a Timney (about $60 @ Midway) or step up to a SSS Comp trigger (Sharp Shooter Supply) that will adjust down to about 12 ounces for about $90. I have some of both in my older model Savages (as well as my new Stevens') and both are easy to install and adjust. I prefer the SSS now after having tried both.

Thanks for the info. I did replace it last year with one from Rifle Basix, didn't get the pull where I wanted it. about 3 lbs. I'll check out the SSS.
Thanks Again:

glockman55,
Check out www.snipercountry.com for SSS trigger. They are $84.95 there. It's the best price that i have found.
