Been having abdominal discomfort & other issues for a few months now, so this morning I had a flexible cytoscopy examination plus ultrasound scan of my kidneys - nothing found.
Believe me, having something inserted up one's "little man" is decidedly unpleasant, though not particularly painful.

Clean bill of health from both procedures, so now I wait to hear what the next steps are, as the issues ain't gone away... Confused

Ever had a prostate exam where they took samples for biopsy? That nurse assisting the doctor learned a new language. "This won't hurt". My a$$!

Prostate was apparently just fine so no need for biopsies - at least from the inside. Very Happy

I've had lower bowel issues for a while now, starting with diverticulitis about 10 years back, then what they think is IBS from 2016, then another bout of diverticulitis in September.
Reckon I'm due for another camera equipped gerbil invasion in the near future... Shocked

Diverticulitis. Had one bout with that. Put me in the hospital for three days.

Diverticulitis...There is a way to prevent diverticulitis. Don't grow old.

Touch wood, I don’t have any of these afflictions, so no (as Pomgolia Mike so succinctly put it) “camera equipped gerbil invasion” on the horizon for me, thank God.

Fingers crossed all goes well for you mate...diverticulitis is not pleasant as are kidney problems (my wife has both). Hang in there mate, there is treatment available for both.

strange, I also had some ideas about the taste of this thread...

in this case it seems not a good idea just to cut away all that's nasty or bad Smile

or the saying "whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger" is going to be quite the oposit in this case Smile
