Hello Gents,
I'm really a bench rest shooter and just joined the site to get a good look at that Point Blank software.
It's simple and intuitive and uncluttered. I just want to keep track of my handloads and don't need all the ballistic calculations that the other packages have.
I like point blank and you can't beat the price. <G> It is, however, a little dated. Do you think there will be an update in the future?
Thanks and glad to meet all of you
Harry

Hi Callahan,
The update is in the works. The owner of this site, Dallen Christensen, is the software writer and he is working on v2.0 and we have been debugging parts of the new software. There is no release date because Dallen has a real job writing gaming software so PointBlank v2.0 is a spare time update. But the new version is coming along fine as we get each part debugged and there is some software writing to do in some new sections.
We want to welcome you to HuntingNut and we hope you stay and share your experience and knowledge.
Speaking of the new version of PB, if you have any ideas for improvements please post your ideas in the Point Blank section of the forums.

Hey Dallan,
I'm neither a hunter or a ballistics x-spurt but I do know a little about reloading. If you need another beta tester for v2.0 I'm available.
Thanks again
Harry
