This is my friends Wyoming Whitetail he shot on Wednesday. It was the smallest of three, but was the only one to cross the property line. The largest of the three was twice the size of this one. 6 points on each side, wider and taller. He weighed 185 lbs gutted out.

I am thinking about putting in some food plots to increase size even more. Since this is about average for most of the bucks I have seen around here, I think some added nutrition might increase the average.

Anybody plant food plots for whitetails? If so, what is the best for antler growth? These deer pretty much live on alfalfa all year long and have a a good 1 1/2 inch layer of fat.
