You HAVE been in my house. Haven't you...Reloading/gun room is straight across from the master bedroom. My computer/office is at the other end of the house. Which causes me to have move my manuals back to the reloading/gun room when I need them to reload...No...I don't heat "my" room until I plan on using it. It's small and heats up fast.

Not enough room in my little house for any of my gear so I built a new building to accomodate my needs, one of which is my reloading area. Maintain minimal heat in the winter till I need it. Pretty well insulated so it heats up fairly fast.--tr

In the finished basement. There are two tomcats living down there that keep an eye on my stuff. They enjoy watching the reloading process. All the best...

Moose2, I had actually thought about doing that very same thing but decided to go this route and I certainly didn't want it in my garage. In a few years or so it will be just me and the wife in here after my youngest daughter leaves home so there's lots of room. I used to have it in the basement as well but we had this room that was only used as a computer room so it came up here.

No room to set stuff up permanently. So am doing it off a tv tray useing a Lee hand press or Lee loader. Had to go to neck sizing only at this point. If I need to full length resize not sure what I will wind up doing but have a couple of ideas.

I have my wheeled reloading bench set up in our walk in closet in our master bedroom. My wife does her hobbies in the master bedroom proper. My computers are also in the master bedroom, but, my guns are in a safe in the family room. Since my daughter, her husband, and 3 grandkids live with us, we had to retreat to the master bedroom. It's big enough to do so and the wife likes the convenience 42 inch flat screen TV and audio equipment & all. When we want to be by ourselves, we just go to the master bedroom and shut everyone else out. I got an apartment size refrigerator, hot plate, microwave, and coffee pot in there as well...all the convenience at my finger tips.
My reloading bench is on wheels, has shelves built in, surrounded in metal, with a 3/4 inch plywood top where I have 4 reloading presses mounted. All my reloading supplies is in the cabinet. I'm not crowded at all, but, sometimes we are in a mess when we get to hobbying.
Keep it coming...

I have a "shop" 12'X20' with 1 12' long reloading bench against the back wall and a 5' bench against the right wall for other smaller operations (case cleaning, trimming, ect.) I only heat when I'm going to go out there to use it in the winter. I also have a air conditioner for the muggy hot summer days when I know I'm going to be out there ALOT!

I reloaded for years (2 houses) in my garage, at 98 degrees it was hot stuff and I spent very little time doing the chore in the summer.
When we designed/built the new house, I designed in an 8x10 room between the kitchen and garage, just across the short hall from the 1/2 bath. My wife allows me to hang my "heads" in that room also. I went down to Lowe’s and bought a bunch of those white wall cabinets and vanity bottoms with a birch laminate prefab L shaped counter top. It works pretty well, but my casting exhaust fan in the ceiling was a non starter, too much smoke not enough fan... So I still cast in the garage, mostly in winter, 98 degrees and casting pots just really suck.
I built a closet with full shelves, floor to ceiling, in the reloading room just for the powder. Of course, powder crawls out now and then to other closets as in procreates on the shelf. You must watch powder all the time, just like rabbits, it multiplies.

I do my reloading in my basement. I have one room that is concrete block on all sides with just a large enough opening for a door. I some how managed to get a bench in there and I have two lockable cabnets one with loaded ammo and primers, the other with powers, brass, and bullets. bench has a shelf of sorts which I have my dies and reloading books on. I have 4 presses mounted to the bench and one to the cabnet that holds my powder.
