Anybody have reloading data for the Hornady 129 SST bullet used in a 6.5 x 55 Swede (96 Mauser)? I was going to try both IMR 4350 and H4350.

I have written to Hornady and Hodgdon for data, but have not received a reply yet. Maybe I just need to get the 7 th Hornady manual......

I'm still waiting for a reply from hornaday from about 8 months ago, buy hodgdon responded in about 3 days or so. as for the powders, the h4350 measures better out of my RCBS. I'd try pulling out my hornaday book but its volume 3 or so.

B.C.;0.485 C.O.L.;3.035 Hornady 129gr. SST
imr 4350 min.36.4 max.42.4gr. 2700ft/sec
H4831 min.33.8gr. max.45.6gr. "
RL22 min.34.4gr. max.45.4gr, "
These three are a fast to slow rated powder imr-fast; RL-middle; H-slow.
Hope this gives you a place to start A.H. This data is from 6th edition Hdy. They don't show H4350.
Don

Thanks for the feedback guys. And Pitt I appreciate the statr/max info a bunch.
I've called around looking for the new Hornady 7 th manual but Sportsmans Warehouse and Cabelas in Phx are out. However, I did look at Lock Stock and Barrel, and they have it in stock so I may call them and get one shipped out (about 26.00).
