I need to know more about the Virginia Dragoon .44mags.
stainless steel model.

Gentlemen, please tell me what you can, and what a good price is for one.
I have the opportunity of buying one for $350.00 from a coworker who has 3 of them and swears by them.
Not sure if this is too high or not

Also looking at M77 markll 30 06 price is 579.00 is this a fair price??
regards
Keetoowah

Neither sounds like a particular great deal to me, for 350 you should be able to find a used Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 which is a better gun in my opinion. As far as the M77 MKII,you may be able to find them a bit cheaper. The local Sportsmans warehouse in Fairbanks was selling 77 MKII's for 459.00 to clear them out in anticipation of the new Hawkeye model coming in. Are you looking at the new Hawkeye model or the older M77?. Blued or stainless? Walnut, synthetic or laminate? Neither sounds like a bad deal, but I think you could probably do a little better.

The local gun shops sell the Ruger handgun you describe for a bit less than $350.00. The price on the Ruger rifle seems very high. I got a Ruger Mark II in like-new condition for $325.00. Take care...
