The press just reported that Hillary Clinton was rooting for Eight Belles, the only filly running in yesterday's Kentucky Derby. Tragically, right after finishing second to Big Brown, the filly broke both of its front legs and had to be immediately euthanized. Wouldn't it be ironic to witness a similar result at the Democratic National Convention?

I agree with you, but the analogy was too obvious to ignore. Voters for a long time have associated political candidates with a certain part of a horse. How could her political jockeys have allowed her to take such a position considering the horse race that she is in right now? Her entire campaign crew must have been asleep at the starting gate!
